Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig Sept. 21 1982) is a famous American actor. Particularly, she appeared as Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost television show, as well as Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. Maggie Grace, originally from Worthington located in Ohio dropped out of high school in order to move in Los Angeles after her divorced parents divorced. The actress landed her first part as Rachel's Room's main character in 2001 despite struggling financially. In the following years, she was in comedies and dramas which included Nanny McPhee's Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011 and Won't Back Down 2012 Her other roles are as an agent of the Secret Service in White House Down 2013 as well as a singer in Frank 2014 and as a singer as a singer in The Kindergarten Teacher 2018, in which she plays the lead character. In 2021, Gyllenhaal made her writing and directed debut in the psychological drama The Lost Daughter for which she was awarded the Venice International Film Festival's Best Screenplay Award and was nominated to win the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
