Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is Mexican-born musician born into a family of musicians. She grew up listening mostly to traditional music, old boleros, as well as traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is an avid fan of Tangos. She also loves operas and any form drama. Ana began learning and singing music with her mother, she began her more intensive training in singing when she was 16 with renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. The training in music continued at the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in The School of Sacred Music of Toluca. When she was a student, as well when she was a professional young in Mexico City and Guadalajara she sang with several chamber groups and choirs. After moving into America, United States, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002, she made her way to southern California. She is a frequent soloist at events, private parties and other occasions and performs the traditional Latin American Music. Ana is involved in a variety of local initiatives, both as a teacher as well as a performer due to her enthusiasm of music and art. Ana has also been a former participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Choir for allowing her to perform classic Latin American song.
