Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is the daughter of British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby (born in Paris) as well as Chris Watson (born in Paris). After moving to Oxfordshire when she was five, Emma enrolled at the Dragon School. Emma was just six when she realized she wanted to pursue a career as an actress. She trained for several years at Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a full-time school of theatre in Oxford in which she learned acting as well as singing. By the time she turned 10 years old, Emma took part in a variety of Stagecoach productions and plays. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the movie version of J.K. Rowling's bestselling British book was cast in the year 1999. Emma was found by agents through her Oxford teacher. David Heyman announced to Emma that after eight consecutive auditions Emma as well as Rupert Grint were chosen as Hermione and Harry Potter. Emma's debut film coincided with the release Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2002). The most successful film of 2001 The film broke records for its debut day revenue as well as the opening weekend's earnings. The film was praised by reviewers, and so were the performances of its three stars. The highly distributed British publication The Daily Telegraph called her performance as admirable. Emma won the Young Artist Award as the Leading Young Actress for the Feature Film. She was later awarded five times for her role in the movie.
