Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop music industry is being influenced by his international influence. His hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu was the recipient of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for the most popular Song in the year 2017. His debut album ADN was made available by La Industria Inc., which is a Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. This album peaked at eight places on the Top Latin Albums charts. Later in the year, the singer teamed with Ozuna to create Vaina Loca and it was an album that was a Top Five hit. In the year 2020, he teamed up with Noriel on Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina in the following year. In 2021, he performed in a duo performance with TINI to perform her online single Maldita Foto. The smash hit La Bachata from 2000 was published in 2023. Turizo was born into a musical household both his parents are both musicians. Turizo has told interviews that music was a necessity. In his childhood he was taught to play the saxophone, piano and guitar. His initial choice of career was to be a veterinarian But his older brother Julian encouraged him to learn to sing by working with a Cuban teacher.
