Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish flamenco and pop singer. As a teenager, Rosalia has worked in both the popular and traditional music. Yet, her musical interests also extend to different genres like hip-hop and soul. The flamenco guitar player Pepe habichuela described her voice as delicate and sharp, however she still featuring the sharpness of veteran singers. The album she released in 2017 Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist her 2018 follow-up El Mal Querer was a major critical and commercial breakthrough leading the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and later getting a Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd and The Weeknd, came out in 2021. It was her third studio album. Motomami collaborated on songwriting with many artists and producers including Cory Henry and James Blake. The set was launched following the Saturday Night Live performance of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish artist to sing solo on the program. Motomami is her album, which has won three Latin Grammy Awards also made her the first female to be awarded an award for Latin Album of the Year get twice.
